Hi, I Re-Installed ALSA 0.9 on my debian system which is running a kernel 2.4.19. the Installation went fine. but when I tried to unmute the sound using amixer I get this error: ########## ALSA lib control.c:601:(snd_ctl_open_noupdate) Invalid CTL default amixer: Mixer attach default error: No such file or directory ########## can anybody help me fix this
