I'm trying to track down whether or not my (working) alsa setup will
support 4 channel audio, but I'm having no end of trouble. If anyone
knows anything about the SB PCI128's 4-point support, please enlighten
me :)

Anyways: The one thing I would really like to see is a simple channel
test. Perhaps this would take the form of an applications that could
show you each channel, and let you click on them to produce a test
tone... or perhaps an actual voice that would read the designation of
the given channel. Maybe it would be as simple as a 4 channel .wav that
alsaplayer would be able to play to confirm the correct speaker
configuration.

For reference, my goal is to get Ogle's multi-channel dvd output (which
is available in it's current CVS) to work on this card. I'd hate to have
to go out and buy another new card to get this to work, but if it really
does come to that, can anyone make any suggestions? (for ALSA or OSS...
frankly both would be best, because Ogle's developers definately seem
more focused on OSS, but I'd love to be seeing the direction things are
going with for ALSA in the future too).

Anyways, thanks in advance.
