I have a MSI KT3 Ultra2-R motherboard with Realtek
ALC650 soundcard, my system is a Mandrake 8.0 linux OS. I have downloaded the
sound drivers for linux from Realtek website, and ALSA version 0.9.0rc3 comes
with the package, I have compiled the source code and installed the drivers
correctly, the ALSA loads fine and the sound kernel modules, I have probed with
snd-via8233 (or similar?? I don't remember) for my VT8235 chipset southbridge
and all works fine, I play mp3's with XMMS (fine!), I play Quake2 in native
linux mode (fine!), but when I play music with mpg123 (that comes with MDK8.0, I
don't remember the version) or play Quake2 with Transgaming WineX the
sound listen cracked or schatched (I don't found the correct work because I
didn't speak english).
What is the problem, is the problem with Wine or
XMMS, or the ALSA library??
(Excuse me for my bad and ugly english, but I am a
Mexican)
Pleace help me with my problem!
Thanks!!
