hi all, i am having problems teaching alsaplayer to use an output plugin. the output plugin i want it to use is jack, of the 'jack-audio-connection-kit'
with jack happily running i run the command: 'alsaplayer -o jack -v -d ft:in_1, ft:in_2 &' where 'ft_x' are inputs and outputs i am using in another application. i however get the error, "failed to load output plugin (jack) exitting' note error typo ;) it doesn't work with specifying jackd or jackstart either. alsaplayer is started as user, as is jack [jackstart]. i've played around with execing all applications su, but this doesn't change the outcome either. thanks for your assistance, de/ ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by: See the NEW Palm Tungsten T handheld.
