it freezes when i try to use an oss program like mpg123 or a pure alsa program like 
alsaplayer
alsaplayer tells me it has been interrupter by signal 11 just before the freeze

btw, alsamixer works, it is only when i try to play sound

i'm using 2.4.20-pre10-ac2 but i had the same result with a 2.4.19
i obviously removed everything in kernel/sound

what is strange is that it works with alsa 0.9rc2 but not after
