I've seen a few msgs on the devel list and here that indicate it should work, but alas, not for me. My alsa version is the CVS from 12/1/02.
I can use alsamixergui to unmute Line1, and I hear the sound, and it appears that I can set it to record, but if I record sound from it, all I get are 0 samples. Sound playing works using ALSA (tested via xmms). Any pointers? TIA, Thor Johnson PS. You might want to put this in a Faq: If the computer hangs when using both the ALSA drivers and the nVidia drivers, disable the ACPI functions in the bios (in my bios it was called something like APIC, but whatever).
