Hello all,

I'm currently running Slackware 8.1 and trying to set up my sound card. I'm running a
SiS 651 motherboard which means I have 7012 pci audio. I'm having trouble getting any
sound from my card. I've followed the directions given at:

http://www.alsa-project.org/alsa-doc/doc-php/template.php3?company=SiS&card=&chip=ad1816a&module=intel8x0

I'm also using the 0.9.0rc6 version of the alsa drivers. The output of some commands
is given below:

bash-2.05a# lspci

XMMS will open and start to play under KDE using the OSS driver setting but then soon
freeze. What can I do to get sound out of this damn thing?

Thanks in advance to anyone kind enough to solve this problem,
