OK, may be, but i had same problem with compilling TiMidity++-2.12.0-pre1 :(
But it is not impotent ;)
I used google and finded alsa 0.9 patch for TiMidity++-2.11.2 
With patch TiMidity++-2.11.2 compliled sucessfully as alsa-client :)
I hope, what i will can compile TiMidity++-2.12.0 in future :)
I use CRUX-0.9.8.
