I know that I boring you, but I have this card and I want to work with it under Linux. Is this bad, really? I found in many forums that all people with that model have problems with center/LFE not only under linux, but under win98 and win2k (now creative solve this problem by suppling new driver pack for windows). SB0100 sells since spring of 2002 (or earlier) in Europe.
This mean that this card differ from other cards and driver must be corrected. Total: 1) In ALSA9RC6-OSS emulation and OSS driver center (middle) channel doesn't work. 2) With ALSA9 and mplayer and strange settings of mixer all 6 channels work, but mplayer have a bug. 3) Creative says that this SBLive 5.1 DD or SBLive 5.1 Player. 4) kx Driver work same as OSS (center/LFE is lost). I can try correct driver, but I don't know from what I must start and to which direction I must go. Or what I may do to help you correct this problem with SB0100? p.s.
