The name should be snd_compat_vmalloc_to_page AFAICS.

I did that change ( added _compat_ )and compiled ALSA it loaded and fine ... But
I *STILL* get output on only the front speakers the AC97 2ch->4ch switch has *NO* effect on my snd-card ... Why is this ??
Do I have to start all over again ?
