Not quite completely. The supported channels/sample rates are: ch rate 2 48000 3 22050 5 22050 6 22050 3 44100 5 44100 6 44100 3 48000 5 48000 6 48000 2 channels at 44.1 kHz isn't supported by the Extigy. The default output device used by aplay is "hw:0", which doesn't automatically convert sample rates. Try "aplay -D plughw:0 something.wav".
