Hello Alsa community, Help! I have two audio cards: via82xx and a ice1712 eval board. I'm using alsa 0.9.0rc6.
The ice1712 board has 8 analog input channels for analog to digital conversion. This of course is using the professional/multi side of the board. I want to open 4 simulateous stereo pairs of A/D channels to record and then stream them over a network. So far I have only been able to get 1 stereo pair to record using the "plughw:1,0" pcm_name. How do I get the remaining 3 stereo A/D input channels to record. Does the driver support this or do I have to unlock/modify the source code to enable this feature? I didn't see to many devices available in /proc/asound/card1. I think I need more. I'm new to alsa so flood me with info.
