Thanks for the replay.....I have talking with Lauron Gaujon, he made said the same as you, it appears that one of the problems is that the alsa driver is not initiallised a boot time.......so i tried to initiallised the alsa script manually then it returns an error saying that it cannot find .... snd-intel8x0, so late last night i recompile the last kernel-2.4.20-2.41 adding support for alsa...then this morning i got a kernel panic.... I will be posting a message to the kernel list, to see if somebody knows more about this problem..
