I have the alsa drivers successfully installed on RH8 - I can play mp3 files using mpg123 for instance - but am having problems getting AlsaPlayer to work.
I downloaded the source and did the usual ./configure, make, make install. Now this happens:
when I type "alsaplayer" at the shell prompt, nothing happens
if I type "alsaplayer song.mp3" then I play the song
but I never see the alsaplayer GUI.
Is there a switch I need to set when starting alsaplayer to get it to show the GUI?
