I'm trying to get my Edirol UM-2 USB Midi adapter to work but I'm only partly successful. I'm running RC7 on a 2.4.20 SMP kernel (SMP-System). The adapter is loaded as 3rd soundcard via snd-usb-audio. It seems to get loaded correctly since I can see the devices. I'm also running oss emulation on it. I tried various applications to access the interface but whenever one does the system freezes. When trying to launch rosegarden, the rosgarden sequencer enumerates 4 devices corretly (twice in and out) and then the system freezes. I'm a little lost on how I could provide futher information necessary to debug the problem since everything locks and thus I don't see any logged messages or debug output. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
