Alsa and Audacity work great with my delta44. So do jack and ardour.
Ardour is rather complex, but then so is a lot of audio engineering
software. In any event it works great.

I would stick with Audacity for now. The stable (1.0.x) version works
great with Alsa. 1.1.x is a little rough... Depending upon how complex the
routing is with that card, you should be able to get Audacity to play back
through it easily.

If you're having a hard time playing back through some other sound card
(e.g onboard sound) well, I dunno how well that's supported here yet. Has
anybody tried that? I'd like to see it work ...

Good luck - JB
