Blame it on being a newbie, but I am quite irritated by this thingy. I
*think* it is set up properly, but am not quite sure how to test it.
Anyway, it's set up on an IBM thinkpad 390. I followed the instructions
for installing on the alsa-project.org website, and it's showing up on
usbview, so setup seems ok (I'm running redhat 7.3). Two odd things: one,
in hardware viewer, the roland device shows up 5 times or so, and two,
when playing sounds, it's very static-y and stuttery. In dmesg, I'm
getting this:

usb-uhci.c: iso_find_start: gap in seamless isochronous scheduling

Anyone know what I could do to make it less evil? Overall, though, I'm
more concerned about sound recording than output, but...yeah.
