I just tried to install ALSA drivers for my new Audigy and I'm having a lot of problems, yet again. The card is a new OEM Audigy with the new EMU10K2 chipset in which I believe is also in the Audigy 2. In other words this is probably my problem right here, I have been trying to install ALSA with emu10k1 drivers, and the install in general goes alright. After this, everything I do goes init_modules: No such device. I go /sbin/modprobe snd-emu10k1 and I receive that error at /lib/modules/2.4.21-0.13mdk/kernel/sound/pci/emu10k1/snd-emu10k1.o: init_modules No such device

I have tried 0.9.0.rc6 & 0.9.3c with no luck. I even downloaded the cvs version, but it wouldnt compile right from the beginning with that long command in the install doc because of "too many symbolic links" error which sounds stupid. Please someone come up with a solution for me, is this card yet supported, is it being worked on, am I installing this wrong??? The only reason I bought this card was for it to bc compatible lol, I'm really starting to hate linux.
