Anyone got a working multi channel set up for this card with alsa? I've got a cheap set of 5.1 speakers (Creative Inspire 5300) and using the oss drivers and emu-tools I've managed to get all three output channels (center/sub, front left/right, rear left/right) working like a charm. This is in Redhat 9. I'm running gentoo right now, and had a little trouble with the oss drivers and emu-tools there, so I'm trying alsa (which seems to be recommended anyways). I've managed to get rear channel support by tinkering with the mixer, but the center channel's still dead (unless I unplug the center from the speaker, thereby letting the speakers distribute the signal, but that's cheating . I'm not sure if this is something I can setup with the mixer or if I need to play with .asoundrc or one of the other config files. Failing this I can switch back to the oss driver and probably get it working, but I figure sooner or later I'll be switching to alsa; what with the 2.6 kernel and all. Thanks again.
