Hello,

I installed envy24control on SuSE Linux 8.1 for my Midiman Delta 410 sound
card. The card was installed successfully by alsaconf and it played music. In
envy24control, I clicked "S/PDIF In" under "Master Clock" in "Hardware
Settings". The sound output stoppped immediately and in the "Actual Rate"
box, the value changed from "44100" to "S/PDIF". Because I don't have any
digital interfaces, and I wanted to have my music back, I clicked "44100"
again. Nothing happened though, the music is gone and if I close
envy24control and start it again, the S/PDIF is again selected. I have tried
every setting to get back to where I started, but without success.
Then I tried to reinstall my sound card. This went fine, until the playing of
the test sound. Apparently, the sound card is in use, because the program
still waits for the test sound to be played.

Who can tell me how I can reset the whole configuration and why this has
happened?

Edwin Boersma
