Thanks for pointing that. Now I think I won't go for an Envy24, too much
trouble for me. I just want it to listen regularly to music and play once in
a while. I have a problem with my XFire 1024 (CS4624) causing hard locks when
playing in my system for no apparent reason (in windows, too). Problems
dissapear with my old CMI8738. As the Crystal seems to be one of the few
chips that support Hardware Mixing and I can't find any Santa Cruz or
Sonicfury in my country, I think I'll stay with the C-Media until I find
something better. Anyone has had similar problems with the XFire? Any
suggestions for a new card? Thanks in advance.
