if it's supported, the default pcm is through DXS.
it's assigned to the device 0 (hw:0,0).  the multi-channel PCM is
assigned to the device 1 (hw:0,1), and the SPDIF is to 2 (hw:0,2).

the spdif should be accessed, however, through "spdif" pcm device
alias.  it will set up another necessary things automagically.
