Hi all, (This may be a duplicate.) I too am experiencing the 4k memory leak. I'm using the snd-es18xx ISA driver.
I'm calling aplay via a system() call and the leak goes away completely if I change "aplay" to "echo" in my code. I'm willing to help track it down if somebody gives me some pointers where to look in the ALSA code.
