For that, I'm keeping it as my preferred and stable alsa-driver release. Trouble is with this latest alsa-driver-0.9.5. I'm stuck with a complete build in the first place. I have several machines, each with different hardware configurations (i.e. hardware soundcards); for example, virmidi and usbaudio/midi are standard in my studio, but specific soundcards are always changing places and brands ;) So to make things standard, my alsa-driver's configure line has been omitting that handy '--with-cards' option.
