I was trying to unmute my sound card, and I am getting this error:
amixer: Mixer attach default error: No such file or directory
Does anyone know what this means?
also, thanks for the previous help. It hasn't been easy getting even this
far.
What version of Alsa do you have?
Can you run 'amixer info'?
Maybe you need to to run the snddevices script.
