My motherboard is a Asus A7S333, that comes with a C-Media CMI8738, that I disabled in BIOS and with a jumper (I don't get it why there is an option in the BIOS if you have to change a jumper...). This onboard sound appears correctly when enabled. I just don't want to use it 'cause most of time I'm compiling other programs and playing MP3/OGG at the same time and I can see that the sound starts lagging (pauses in the middle of play). Also, I believe that the other periferals don't have any sound playing stuff. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email sponsored by: Free pre-built ASP.NET sites including Data Reports, E-commerce, Portals, and Forums are available now.
