I have on my old opl3sa2 card this control, which controls the capture volume from the selected capture source and shows up as Capture in alsamixer: control.13 { comment.access 'read write' comment.type INTEGER comment.range '0 - 15' iface MIXER name 'Capture Volume' value.0 14 value.1 14 You don't have that control, I guess your mixer is just different. And I'm using the old 0.9.0rc8 version :( I hope someone else can help you.
