still unable to get support for either of the following cards:
pdaudiocf
vxpocket
I have done the following:
- installed kernel-sources rpm
- configured this kernel-sources with 'make cloneconfig', 'make dep'
- installed the alsa-driver tarball
-
./configure --with-cards=pdaudiocf --with-cards=vxpocket --with-sequencer=ye
s;make;make install
- modprobe snd-pdaudiocf;modprobe snd-vxpocket;modprobe snd-pcm-oss;modprobe
snd-mixer-oss;modprobe snd-seq-oss
- edited /etc/modules.conf according to alsa docs
- ran vxloader ("no vx-compatible cards found")
- ran snddevices
YaST and alsaconf still cant see either of the cards
The suggestions have been helpful, and it seems to compile without errors,
but the cards arent being detected
