I'm wondering if anyone can tell me how to find out which device my SBLive! card is attached to? I'm using the Alsa snd-emu10k1 driver. I've tried trial and error to find the device (cat /usr/share/sounds/KDE_Startup.wav > /dev/audio?) with all errors comming back.
Dmesg doesn't list what device it is using as with bttv. The bttv modules loads and tells me which /dev/<device> it is using. Is there a Linux command to tell me what device a module is using?
