Also, trying to access mixer using alsamixer, I receive this:

alsamixer: function snd_ctl_open failed for default: No such file or directory

With gamix: ***** probe.c 40: No ALSA device. main.c 36: Can not make mixer. *****
And no sound at all. Suggestions?
