I sent this e-mail out to alsa-devel back in April. When I didn't get a
response, I switched to the open source driver from Creative and got four
speakers working again. However, since installing Slackware 9.1 over the
weekend, I thought I'd give the latest version of the alsa drivers another
try.. But I'm still only getting output from two of the four speakers...

Subject: [Alsa-devel] Live! & eMicro 28028

I used to have a SB Live! in my machine at home that recently died. A
quick run out to the store, and I replaced it with another SB Live!

The problem is that I can't get this Live! to do four speaker output.
alsamixer identifies the chip as an "eMicro 28028". I have "Surround" all
the way to 100%, as is "Center", "Wave", and "Wave Center". Is there
something I'm missing, or is this just not supported with on this version
of the Live!?

Adam
