I use SuSE 8.2 and SPDIF-out works here with my CMI8738MC6 (Terratec Aureon Fun 5.1), but I had no time to try a new alsa-version to see if _IN_ works too. See the posting below, which mentions, that "in" should work too. Al Subject: Re: [Alsa-user] TOS-digital in with CMI8738MC6 (Terratec Aureon Fun 5.1) Date: Dienstag, 10. I use gnome-alsamixer for setting the volume and there's a switch in gnome-alsamixer called "IEC958 Input". I guess that's what you're looking for. So, you might wanna try upgrading to alsa 0.9.3 and/or try gnome-alsamixer. ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf _______________________________________________ Alsa-user mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/alsa-user
