Hey everybody,

I've got a GigaByte motherboard with a VIA KT400A chipset and the RealTek
ALC650 audio chipset. The audio quality is good but it often skips. For
example, I'll be listening to music in XMMS and I'll maximize a window and
then audio will briefly pause. I don't think my system is under-powered as
it works fine in Windows 2000 and I have a AMD 2500+ CPU. Any ideas on how
to stop the skipping?

Mark
