Yes, I did.
Here is what I did:
1. Downloaded latest CVS snapshot from 10/10/2003.
2. Run "build prep"
3. Went to alsa-driver directory and run "cvscompile".

There was the same error about PDE and there was no mention of CONFIG_HAVE_PDE
in include/config.h.
