I've got a problem with the pcm volume.
I have an ep-8rda3+ motherboard with nforce2 chipset
kernel 2.4.22
debian woody
alsa 0.9.7.c (i dl it today then i folllowed the cvs instructions)

and i cannot change the volume, i mean it's eiter 0 or 100% with the
pcm. alsamixer or aumix don't have any effect on it.
but what is more strange is that the equalizer of xmms have any effects,
i can choose more treble or less bass.
and it's the same if i use i810_audio or nvaudio modules: no sound or
very loud.
I search on the Internet a solution, but i didn't find anything
Have you got one ?
Thanks
