Hello Many thanks to Frank Barknecht for his dmix/ossmix post. After several months I've finally managed to get dmix to work on my ISA AWE64 card. You've done a fantastic work.
My CMI8738-MC6 cmipci card on the other computer is still yet to reconfigure in the same way, but I'm more than confident it will succeed. What I would like with this card is to have both dmix and surround40 set as default.
