Dear all,
I've downloaded the cs4237B driver (version 0.9.8) from ALSA and try to
install the driver in my ThinkPad 600 2645-45A with Redhat 9 following
the instructions. However, when I use the "modprobe snd-cs4236" command,
errors occurred:
/lib/modules/2.4.20-8/kernel/sound/isa/cs423x/snd-cs4236.o: init_module:
No such device
Hint: insmod errors can be caused by incorrect module parameters,
including invalid IO or IRQ parameters.
You may find more information in syslog or the output from dmesg

Would anyone tell me how to install the sound card driver successfully
step by step in TP600 with Redhat 9?
