I don't know the brand or "marketing name", but this it what the chips
on the card reads:
opti 82c929a
analog devices

The output of 'cat /proc/asound/cards' however give me this:

This is an ISA-card, but it's not, afaik, PNP.

I'm not using isapnp so I don't have /proc/isapnp, sorry.
I'm not sure what you mean by adding printk in the card detection
routing, is this perhaps a part of the isapnp-tools?
