I'm using SB Live! 5.1 with Kernel 2.4.22 and ALSA 0.9.8. Everything works fine. DVD's and DivXes with AC3 works just marvelous, every speaker is working ok. But when I play stereo file (eg. mp3) in xmms, or in mplayer, only front speakers are playing. I'd like to clone front speakers signal to the rear ones in that case. Xine does that - when I play mp3 in xine, just like the windows drivers for all system, the stero sound is playing on front and rear speakers in the same time, but I don't want to use Xine everywhere. Is this possible?
