I don't know Qamix, but in alsamixer you toggle the capture of a source
by pressing space. With certain soundcards there has to be multiple
sources set to capture for it to work. On my cs46xx i have to set
capture on DAC, on Capture and on Line in [or mic, if you want to rec
from the mic input].

So i don't know, if a pull down menu would be appropriate for this stuff
to work since i could imagine that with a pulldown menu you can only
select one source for capturing which is not enough for certain
soundcards..
