Try alsamixer and move to very last bars until you see the external 
amplifier power down on top of window. Then press 'm' for toggle.

I cannot find this company on net. Is any information in the W$ drivers or 
at the product? It seems that your codec is not properly initialized, but
without datasheet I cannot help you very much.
