Hi,
I have an interesting problem. I have sound working when I plug my head
phones in but no sounds through my speakers. I have a laptop. I have noticed
that if I insert a PCMCIA card and the you hear what would normally be a
"beep" from the PC Speaker, it comes through the speakers mixed in with any
audio that is currently being played. But only for that split second the beep
is heard. I don't have this problem with OSS which makes me think it is a
configuration problem. Perhapps the audio is being sent some where else? But
then how do i change the default output to be through the speakers.
I have maxed out all the volume controls in alsamixer.
Can some one suggest something?
Cheers
Rony
