after a too long compilation the process suddenly stopped and came out with this error message :
serialmidi.c: In function 'open_tty' serailmidi.c:164: error: invalid operand to binary > make [1]: *** [serialmidi.o] Error 1 make [1]: Leaving directory '/home/hercules/alsa-driver-1.0.0rc2/drivers' make: *** [compile] Error 1
