I've encountered a problem while installing alsa (1.0.0rc2) on Mandrake 9.2. I successfully installed alsa from source on Mandrake 9.1 before. I follow the steps from http://www.alsa-project.org/alsa-doc/doc-php/template.php?company=Guillemot&card=MaxiSound+Fortissimo&chip=YMF744&module=ymfpci as I've done before.
All goes well until I try to execute "modprobe snd-ymfpci;modprobe snd-pcm-oss;modprobe snd-mixer-oss;modprobe snd-seq-oss" Here "modprobe snd-ymfpci" results in the next error:

I get a comparable error on "modprobe snd-seq-oss".
I've tried searching this list and the web on this problem but couldn't find a solution. So I hope you can help.
version: alsa 1.0.0rc2 Distro: Mandrake 9.2 kernel: 2.4.22-10mdk gcc: 3.3.1 (same as used for kernel I think) sound card: Guillemot Fortissimo
