Yes, I meant optical, my mistake, as I do understand
that is the meaning of the "D" in S/P-DIF. 

So do all the Soundblaster models with a TOS link work
well using the optical output?  Any experiences to
report out there?

I read some messages to them effect that some features
work and others don't.
