i'm trying to use "mixxx" a opensource software for audio-mixing, on a linux gentoo + sblive 5.1 based system
with such program i need 4 channels (2 channels output, 2 channels headphones)
when i try to select /dev/dsp (channel 3,4,5 - 16) all are silent!
so i tried to use native OSS, and i get 6 channels... but the sound is very bad (slow play, troubles with clicks)
so.. i have to map the 6 alsa channels in the oss-emulated devices! can i get help, please ?
