I need to know about paralell port midi devices as per my last post, but also please can you tell a newbie how to configure a device. I have a Hoontech C-Port which works 100% for audio (Thanks Jaraslav!) However, it has 2 midi inputs (only one works) and two outputs. How can I select between port one and two....do I have to use a config file somewhere ? I am running CCRMA on RH9, but I have more experience on Mandrake as far as where files are. So if someone could tell me where to look and whatto tweak I'd be very grateful.
BTW: It seems that Ardour outputs MTC at 30 drop beautifully. I was able to chaselock Samplitude 7.2 to my DAW running Ardour/CCRMA/RH9 and record the click from Ardour into Samp; on chaselocked playback the slip was constant and very,very low... haven't measured yet, but it was impossible to seperate the two with the naked ear when panned L\R on the desk. Now, if I can just get midi IN to work on my midi station, I may be able to run Muse ??
