no, kmix emulates OSS, and OSS mixer cannot represent the all mixer
elements ALSA drivers provide.  it's a very small subset.

2.6.2 includes quite old version (still 0.9.7).
2.6.3-rc1 is fairly new, but i'm not sure whether the last change is
included.  (you can compare the code by yourself, of course :)
