Hi digger, The 'PCM Capt' control is the digital input level. The 'Mic' control is a switch for the input selector and the analog input level (for the Mic only).
I have tested it with alsa 1.0.0rc1 and arecord, it's ok. Do you have unmute the 'Monitoring' control and set it to the correct level ?
