Now that I have successfully gotten programs such as xine to output digital audio when watching DVDs, etc, I'm now having issues getting ALSA to output any other audio through the digital channel.
I have nothing plugged into the analog outputs on my SB Live! I would prefer (if it's possible) to send *all* audio through the digital port, including ac3 passthrough in xine. I've tried what the docs say, but to no avail. Can someone point me in the right direction to some software/manuals/something I can use to make this work as I hope?
